Vette(s): 1982 Corvette (not collector). Light Blue on dark blue. in intial stages of being fully modified along with all original parts fully restored and stored. 100% stock now
Hey everyone i've been looking under my vette and have decided with the frame having 100k miles and a few other problems (not big) that i will be doing either a frame off restoration in the next year or going with a complete chassis with c5 equipment that is a direct bolt on to my 82. I found a couple places and the one i seems most impressed with is www.sriiimotorsports.com . I'm not sure if anyone can give me some advise along with any info if you have used or know anyone who has this product.
I'm really wanting to get into rally competitions and would have to do a lot of work with my chassis...So i'm really interested in turning this high mileage vette into a retro mod...but if i do this i want it to be very racy and classy done (not jerry rigged) !
Thanks in advance for your great help...i really love this site and the members help so far!

Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.
I think you can upgrade your suspension for less from VanSteel or other vendors like VBP.  I changed to a coil over set-up on my car for about 2.3k and it is fully adjustable.  Just a thought for you.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.
