Boy,Talk about your wierd experiences,not too long ago,on the spinners thread I said mine never  come off.,We went out for a ride in the BABY today just driving down route 11 into Great Bend Pa.,I had my arm out the window just being "COOL" when all of a sudden the left front spinner and hub came off and hit me in the wrist scared the sh t out of me,then had to turn around and go back and get it,dont know why it decided to come off.So I was wrong they do come off occasionally

Wow, hope you're not hurt. You could have easily broken your wrist, or even worst, having one of the parts hit the windshield of another vehicle

But maybe if it hadn't hit you, you wouldn't have noticed it came off until you went to clean the wheel.
Hope it didn't get damaged.

I had one fly off too.  I heard a metal hitting metal sound and then saw a chrome flash out of the corner of my eye.  Luckily it was next to a farm field that was freshly plowed.  It was glistening in the dirt when I went to look for it!
