Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.

Years ago, I had an 81 cutlass, that had wire spoke hubcaps, and I installed Olds Ralley wheels. Only the wheels I bought were too wide, and they rubbed the tie rod ends. I went to a neighborhood parts store, and they had spacers that you could buy for that problem. i put them on, and they worked perfectly, with no problems. The only thing you need to watch is the length of the studs. Make sure they have a full nut of threads when tightened. I don't know if they are even available today though. They probably weren't safe....

Bring over a wrench, a thickness caliper, a subway club sandwich and a beer this weekend and I'd be happy to precisely measure my Cragar spacers. FYI, there is a spacer behind the rim and a thick washer over the rim (but under the lug).
