Vette(s): 70 VETTE 350/300HP, AUTOMATIC, ALL STOCK EXCEPT FOR MILD CAM,LAGUNA GREY, 3:55 POSI GEARS
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE CORRECT COLOR OF THE METAL STRAP THAT HOLDS UP THE BOTTOM TRAY FOR THE SPARE TIRE. CLEANING UP SOME PARTS UNDER THE CAR, MINE ARE BOTH BLACK, I BELIEVE THE STRAP IS A DARK GREY AND THE TRAY IS BLACK. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT!LOL

Can't say for sure on the earlier cars, but '73-'74> the straps are semi-gloss black, and the tub itself is a grey fiberglass, with some slight black overspray from the "blackout" painting of the mufflers.
I do seem to remember earlier cars having black tubs, tho...
