i have noticed that since lowering my tire pressure from 32 to 28 i do not get near as much wheel spin at start up. much better tire hook up.

My 1980 L82 says 35 front and rear, and optional 20 and 26psi?
I always run my tires around 33 to 34. They always seem to wear right. I don't have to worry about hook up, my car will go 50 in first gear
(not to low of a gear!) but it gets from point A to point B

hooks up too good now. Broke a motor mount

The door of my '79 says 30/30 but also says 225/70/15. I have the 255/60/15's on. 30 seems to handle ok.
