Hello all,

Trans fluid appears low on my 69 Coupe. Before I jack her up and start looking around, does anyone know if theTurbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission has a “side fill hole” on it to “top off” the fluid?

Thanks much.

Put a funnel in the dip stick tube, and add fluid there. May only need a pint or less. If it's smelly, and other than bright red, it needs to be changed.

As Mark says, you add fluid thru the dipstick tube...where you check the fluid level. A long skinny funnel will help. Needs to be running, trans in Park, and the trans should be warm. Only add enough to get the level into the cross-hatched area of the stick. Then...try to determine WHY it was low....

You can use any brand of Dextron fluid you like.

These guys are right. But to answer your question with photos, No. There is no side hole on the case. At least on my TH400. I would only assume the same for the TH350.
