[QUOTE=The Rook][QUOTE=Jaws79]I've usually just put the whole can in the gas tank??????? My oil doesn't look that bad. Am I doing this wrong? Wouldn't be the first time.  By the way Dan, you still trying to come to Carlisle?

Dan, if you're only coming down for one day, you should shoot for Saturday, it's the biggest day. But we'd be glad to have you anytime!

Well yeeesh....I've never done that, so I couldn't really say. Can't see what it would hurt. Seems to me it would be just as easy to slowly pour it thru the top of the carb...it would do the same thing, far as I can tell.

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
Never used the Sea Foam in the Corvette but I have put some in my snowblower and it brought it back to life.
My brother in law has used it on his I/O boat motor and swears by it.
From what others say here, I'd give it try in the Vette.

Vette(s): 1979 L-82, 3 spd auto, car was originally Lt. Beige currently painted Sportsman Red, Doeskin leather interior, 103,000 miles......

Well I put the whole can in the car.

Put about 5oz in the manifold and split the rest between fuel and oil. To my surprise there was very little smoke. Must have blown out all the carbon driving to Effingham.
