It's the original springs and they were fine before I did the arms....

Jim, I know this is gonna sound stoopid, but....are you sure you have the arms on the correct side?
I can't see it not coming down with the bolts loose.

Sorry Jim, I didn't see the original post where you said that the original springs went back in.  Looking through all the posts you have written saying you loosened everything and bounced and bounced and bounced and ain't nuthin' moved, I can't see where you've said you rolled the whole car back and forth with everything loosened? 

As Joel has said, the car needs to be rolled 10 to 15 feet back and forth to allow the wheels to spread out.  It's like when you jack the car up and the wheels hang by their arms and then you drop the jack, the height of the car will stay up slightly until you move the car.  If this is getting you to suck eggs, I'm sorry but you wouldn't be the first to have this problem.  Of course you will need to tighten every thing once it has settled.  Don't jack the car up again before you tighten everything or you'll put the problem back where it was before.

Talked to my neighbor...who had a 69. He came over and looked at it and said I was nuts. He said it looks high but when you MEASURE it it's the same height as the back end so I shouldn't get caught up worrying about it...

 As long as I'm not NOSE HIGH any excess height should settle per him....

 BTW,, he's the guy that painted mine..

Jim, I'm the last one to give mechanical advice, but it does look like you have a bigger space between the top of your front tire and the fender. Here is a stupid question, are the tires the same size ? I had a similiar problem when I had my suspension done. It turn out to be some sort of bolts that were the wrong ones sent to me, they were too long (I'm sorry I can't recall what they were called ) I had to order shorter ones and once they were adjusted correctly my car was level. Just trying to help.

If you have an assembly manual, it has the height checking dimensions. Alamst sounds to me like it may be fine, if all you did was re-bush and put it back together, you really shouldn't have an issue.

Measure from the ground to the top of the well, tell us what the distance is.

The car is definitely sitting high. It's very noticable. Just because the measurements are the same front and rear doesn't mean it's correct.
I noticed it sitting high in PF before I even knew it was your car! It almost looks like it's got no engine in it!

Here's the SPECS. Yours shouldn't be much different than mine. Adams' Apple38898.7916319444

I'll take a look at it tomorrow...It looks like it came down a bit since I had it all loose...I'll measure and let ya'll know...
