Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.

Are there any specs anywhere as to proper riide height? ('69 vert).

Thanks,

Matt

Vette(s): 1981, Black/Black, Engine bumped to about 400HP.Ext/int mostly stock.
I have to assume they are listed in the Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM).  If you don't have one and plan ot work on your car much, I very much encourage you to order one.  You can order them from most of the big Vette parts vendors.  I have one, but the specs would be very different for my '81, so I can't be much help.

Depending on the original engine/transmission/suspension combination, here is what my AIM states.
350
Measure back from the center of the front wheel "30.5
and the height( " From the underside of the sill molding (appearance line) to ground" ) should be "8.01-8.21 depending on HP rating of engine.
Measure forward from the center of the rear wheel "24.0
and the height( " From the underside of the sill molding (appearance line) to ground" ) should be "7.86-"7.99 depending on HP rating of engine.

I hope this makes sense. There are other factors onvolved here, but there is no difference in my book between a coupe or vert.
