ok, glad we have these forums.  Have 3 nuts off the power booster and the push rod disconnected no way could I see that 4th one so had to double check to make sure there was a 4th.  Back out I go to find that 4th, it is one of the lower ones that I haven't found. I did not find the first 3 to be that hard, but I have the seat out and I am only 5'4" so that would make it a little easier. you just have to get comfortable and hang your feet out over into the trunk area, my biggest problem was keeping my hair from getting tangled in stuff getting in and out.  (I always seem to forget something I might need while I'm under there.)  Here's hoping I can spot that 4th one. I too have progressive lenses so working in such close quarters has been quite challenging.

Cindy, I had to chuckle when I read the part about getting your hair tangled in stuff under the dash.  That is certainly a problem that I didn't have; perhaps in my younger days but not now... Good luck with the 4th nut, it is lurking under there somewhere.

2011, Mid AmericaC3Fest/C3VR Gathering.....parking lot repairs...dark...and here's Barb installing the little clip that holds the booster rod to the pedal. She was the only one in the group small enough to fit up in there, and by golly, she got the job done. Wink
There is always one nut that is a pita to get to. Patience, and some swivel sockets will help...and a bright light.Thumbs Up

ok guys now I need some help.  The ever elusive nut, higher right side, still haven't been able to locate it.  I'm assuming the bolt pattern on the booster is equally spaced in a square or is the higher right side perhaps offset, tried getting fingers in there to feel around for it but still no luck. Doesn't help that the finger I smashed is on that hand and if anything even rubs it those little black words just sorta rush from my mouth.

never mind all my fellow friends, I found a posting of a fellow who had step by step pictures of removal and a good picture of back of booster so I know where to look.  Oh and I also solved the hair problem, found a nice thin touque to stuff it in and wha la no more hair caught in stick shift getting in and out
