Vette(s): 1972 Stingray 4spd Ontario Orange on Black Presently undergoing complete body off started 11/03 and ongoing. Restoration completed July 30, 2006

I noticed that Corvette Central will, for extra cost, include their MagnaFlow mufflers with the system. Has anyone tried these and what is the difference, performance wise from the standard one they sell?

Vette(s): 1972 Red Coupe

Magna flow mufflers are direct flow whereas the other are reverse flow. They are louder and have a higher tone. I think and with a 2 1/2" system on anything under 350HP they are probably overkill.
