[QUOTE=79rebuild]Yep, got a lot of pro products on my engine including an air gap intake. I've been told Low plenum=more torque at lower RPM and Tall plenum=more torque at higher rpm's. I'm not sure how much of this is noticeable at the throttle though.
Vetterbob with the L88 hood and the air gap intake how much room do you have? Oh yeah carb spacer or not? Just curious, I was looking at the 5" high rise hood on ebay but I really want an L88 hood/w air box.

I`M NOT USING A STANDARD AIR CLEANER, I`M USING A RAM HORN AIR CLEANER WHICH PUTS THE CLEANERS TO THE SIDE OF THE SCOOP WHERE IT STARTS TO DROP. THEREFORE I BARELY CLEAR. IN THE MIDDLE IS PLENTY OF ROOM. I HAVE NO SPACER  OR AIRBOX

Looks good! You just made my decision to get an L88 hood especially if you got that much room!
