Vette(s): 2004 Commemorative Edition Coupe, Auto w/HUD. 13K miles in 2015. Sold 1982 Red Coupe
Got the leaking caliper piston replaced and so far, so good. Nice to drive a Vette with good brakes.

Well, I got the rear calipers on then discovered my front left rotor was eaten up and the caliper was leaking. Replaced those also and built a pressure bleeder like Eddie's. After getting passed the sealing on top of the MC, it worked GREAT! Thanks Eddie. First time I've really had any brake petal...LIKE A ROCK! Trying to drill out the rivets on the rotor was a pia on the first one. After that, I just drilled a shallow pilot hole then used a 3/8 bit to take the head off the rivet then just used a punch and knocked the rest of them suckers right out the back...easy. Next good night at the Hold'em table, I'll replace the other front rotor and caliper! Doesn't seem to need it but just to have everything the same. Great to have brakes finally.

Glad to hear it worked out for you with the bleeder. What did you wind up using for a lid and gasket out of curiosity?

1/2" plexiglass and a piece of innertube...and three clamps to get an airtight seal. Worked great.

Hopefully this will get some others inspired to do the same thing and hopefully have some of the same success.
