I went ahead with the full meal deal on mine and had the complete trailing arms rebuilt along with changing out the strut rods, KYB shocks, u-joints, parking brake, new seals all the way around the pumpkin, clutches redone and fresh GM lube.  Had to rebuild due to popping in the rear end on a left hand turn at low speed. 

Course, I woulda had to have had it done anyway since Joel built me a bullet-proof 700R4.  Tranny makes all the difference in the world.  Hookup is awesome!

I have found that just fixing one thing in the rear end will only make the next weakest link in the chain fail.  Trust me, that is true no matter where you are working on the car (see my previous posts).
