rear spring bushings

to replace the rear spring outside bushings do you need to remove the stabilizer link?
Mine are in need of replacement and I did not know if it was as simple as it looked

If your talking about the outside spring end bolts, then yes it is as simple as it looks and no you don't have to remove the stablizers/strut rods.

All that is required is to jack one side of the car so the tire is off the ground and place it on a jackstand. Then use a jack on the very end of the spring to raise the leaf to release pressure on the spring end bolt. Remove and replace.

There is only one thing that you should do before removing the bolt. Measure the distance front the end of the bolt (thread end) to the bottom of the nut. After installing the new bushings you will want to return the nuts to the same location.

Do one side at a time.
