Trust me, there is an awful lot of stock on the caliper-suppor -bracket and there is no reason not to do the job right. I got you a 7/16-20 insert today e-mail or call with your St. addr.,etc. and I will mail it to you. Good luck-Phil |saluteflag|

I agree, there is a lot of material in the support for the keensert. I was just warning about drilling too large a hole in other possible applications.

Al, I finally got my hands on a 7/16-20 keensert, I'll get it in the mail to you Fri.-10\15\04. You will need a 33\64 drill for correct hole size as well as a 9\16-12 hand tap for the external threads of the insert. Drill, tap, and thread the keensert in flush, then one by one tap the aluminum tangs in til flush. That's all to the install-good luck-Phil

Al, not trying to be a apin, you might want to sceck out your acct., as I still haven't seen your envelope. Not trying to be petty, but just recently divorced and any cash coming my way really helps. But, I can thank the Good Lord that my ex didn't want my 68 427 car. By the way, how did the keensert work for you? Best of luck-Phil Anderson-flandy
