Vette(s): 1970 T-Top350/350hp numbers matching 4 speed. It's a mess and 1970 Convertible 4 speed.
On the 81 I notice a lot of oil splatter underneath the rear. I could not fine the rear end plug to check it. What side of the car is it on?

Unless Im dreamin' isnt the plug on top of the pumpkin on the driveshaft side where it is impossible to drain unless you have a turkey baster?

The drain plug is on the part not their I thought I should add the 63-79 for others

Your 81 should have the "batwing" differential cover on it I believe.  The drain plug is on the passengers side rear of the differential cover.  Actually the entire batwing is the differential cover.  It takes a hex wrench to unscrew the plug, cant remember the size.
