I need to change my gear oil. I am getting a little chatter from the posi clutch pack. Should 1 of the small bottles, 4oz, of additive be sufficient or do I need to add more than one?
Thanks,
Scott

One additive is sufficient.

Add the additive first then, top it off with grease.then take the car out into an empty parking lot and do a whole bunch of figure 8s work that rearend out.if you are still getting the chatter change the lube ,get out as much of the grease out that you can.put in another bottle of additive and the 2 quarts of lube and do the figure 8 thing again, unless there is something wrong with the posi it should work out fine for you that additive has to work into those clutch plates and clean the GUNK off of them so they can Slip like they are suppesed too.it took me 3 grease changes B-4 I got mine quieted down,I don,t think it had ever been changed ,it was like molasses the first time I drained it out, patience is a virtue,
