On the engine mods. Headers and open exhaust are always worth the money. This is a mod that always provides extra torque. Changing the heads from 76 cc to 64cc heads will automatically raise your compression. This also increases torque. Going to a larger or I should say "too" large a cam shaft decreases low-end torque. Just a couple of thing to keep in mind.

Vette(s): 1979 maui blue/doe skin, fuel injected 383, 6-speed manual, hooker sidepipes, 3.90 gear
I put 3.90's in mine and its a blast till I get on the freeway, then its 3500 rpms and I don't like it. My cousin gave me a T56 and I'm gathering parts to do a auto/ manual swap. With double overdrive I'll have the best of both worlds.
