I need to replace one of the rear brake rotors on my 1970. Is there any magic to it? Do they simply slide off the lug bolts after the caliper is removed or is the rear rotor held on by something more?
thanks

From the factory they are riveted to the spindle assembly. This was to make assembly line run easier. You will have to drill them out if it hasn't all ready been done. There isn't any reason to rivet the new ones back on. However, It is very important that they be checked for run-out to keep the brake system working properly. To check for run-out you will need to have a dial indicator.
