went to inspection center ( legaly needed every year ) and they found a broken shock.( abuse ? 
)
)
so i dicided to install 4 new ones , asked for the Bilsteins but no availeble in due time and bought Konis.At the same time i installed a 340 lbs fiberglass spring.Must test it more miles but it seems to ride smooth !! 
and the more it looks so clean under the rear.... ok, that heavy metal blade you don't expect that under a sports car... 
Changed mufflers to direct flow trough... yes!! now i have the right noise 
without any disturbing resonance in the car.RACY

hey Joel yes, lost 40 pounds with the spring but gained some myself.....

Hi Mark, nice to see you also. Nono, our cars became to expensive and collectibles to really rally or autocross... it's a "oldtimers" rally , so a bit the system as in the past ( roadbook-copilot) but at limited speed...
it's a "oldtimers" rally , so a bit the system as in the past ( roadbook-copilot) but at limited speed...Most as not all those regional rallys as i use to do in the '80's are now long forbitten due accidents with spectators... insurance companys and commen sense made them impossible by now... In fact if i think about it now it was racing on ( closed) streets with people just a side without any protection from those wild youngsters just pushing that 1 pedal and hoping to slide trough corners well....

Welcome back! Sounds like you've done a lot of work to the car. I remember some time last year that you were having problems with it. Glad to hear that it seems to be fixed now.
Still have the farm that you bought? I remember seeing pictures of the cows and buildings.

hallo Bryan, a lot of work ? no , not really...just changed shocks and rear spring.I have a lift so took me about a evening , even included a beer and some sigarettes... and many times staring at those " female "contours of a C3, dreaming of our affair... !!!
and many times staring at those " female "contours of a C3, dreaming of our affair... !!!Last problems were with ignition ( hesitating points in reving and farts... ) : a single point distributor which i didn't got right how many points and condensors i have tryed....till i put a electronic conversion in it ( simple ring and magnetic sensor ) and everything was solved ! Strange.
Strange. Yes , we moved recently to our restorated farm... sold the house at the sea.Man , this is luxury....now we have parking place , last saterday i think 10 cars ? hehe, all for BBQ... Yes , at our coast it's difficult to find parking , sure in summer.At payed places it's about 3-4-5 $/hour ! Garages go at prices 60 K... nono, give me space again , nice great house ( open fire , AGA cooking stove, oak seilings... ) , a barn for my cars...and room for BBQ's ! Love it !
