just found out my 69 has 8" Rally's on the rear and 7's in the front. The tires are 235x60's all around. Is this a clearance issue with thos size tires and the 7" wheels in front.

235's may be a bit of a stretch up front. Check the code on the 7's, If you have a different offset than a vette wheel, it could help with clearance. If it's a '68 wheel (Code AG) the offset is about the same as an 8" wheel and may not help.
Also, if they are in fact '68 wheels, you should have no problem trading them for the correct wheel for your car. 68 was the only year for a 7" rally! Makes them a bit hard to come by.
And I need one for a spare!

I think i still have some camaro 7's.. indistinguishable except by date codes..
they may even be 68... let me know..

Not really concerned about date codes, but I thought they had a different offset, and wouldn't take the trim ring.

you may be right.. what is the offset.. ill measure it..
