Flem - On the horn. Have you done the usual of taking the horn area apart at the steering column area? The contact spring pieces may not be seated right, or a change in the ring spacers may be needed. My 2 cents.

Thanx for the info and the pix. Ive taken it apart and looked at it everything looks fine cant figure out whats wrong with it. BTW on the telescoping collum Im guessing the wires run through the "metal tube" correct?

The wire from the horn relay runs up through the column tube. It grounds through the steering shaft, and the coupling connection. Grounding the relay activates it, and blows the horn.
Don't forget to check the relay and power supply to the relay, as well as the horn.

I got my kit from the "doc". I've had better luck with small stuff like that from him than anyone.
Actually I've spent most of my resto dollars with him.
