Hallo,have anybody here installed the Flaming River Rack and Pinnion Cradle kit on there c3 Corvette(or maybe a friend have done it). I´m interested about the fit and if it works allright.

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.
I have the Steeroids kit - Absolutely one of the best upgrades I made!!

I have the steeroids also Agree best upgrade I made on my 77 Hope nyou get info for the one your looking at 
I looked at the installation intructions it looks very similiar, might even be a little easier to install, it is most likely an upgrade to the steeroids. rraider12011-04-20 10:01:58

Hi,how was the installation.?Any problems with movement in the mounting brackets or so?
Some customer´s here in Sweden feel some flexing in the bracets and they have made reeinfocement and welded them to the brackets.One has even welded the brackets to the frame!!!

Maybe i don't drive mine hard enough. I have not felt any looseness or negative aspects since the install. But I went from a worn out steering box and a bad steering control valve. Mine has been in about 3 years now. I know a few here have it installed and I have not seen any post with those types of issues
