Does anybody have dyno results of a fastburn 385?? I was just wondering what it's gonna push at the rear wheels. Mine's in a 76 auto.
Oh, and does anybody have 0-60 and/or 1/4 mile times??
Thanks!

Hey Cricket!
I haven't seen any test results, but I can tell ya' that you usually lose roughly around 50 hp off of the gross hp. due to parasitic/friction losses.
I.E. alternator, p/s pump, water pump, transmission (automatics especially), differential. They all rob horsepower. True readings can only be told on a chassis dyno.
1/4 mile times, 0-60 will vary between cars. A car with 3.08 gears will be slower than a car with say..3.73's. How the car is tuned or dialed in has a factor also. Basically what I'm trying to say is that you can drop this engine in any vette and your results will be different everytime. Unless the cars are perfectly identical in weight gearing, accessories & tuning, will your results be close.
Good luck with your vette!
