Question on replacement rear shock bottom rubber bushings

Dumb question.. replacing my shocks with KYB gas adjusts and was wondering - for the rear shocks, do I use the rubber grommet that came on the new shocks by themselves (for the bottom - on the shock and strut support shaft) or do I need to replace them with (or add) rubber grommets specific to our cars, hard to tell from the factory assembly manual. The rear KYBs did not come with any hardware (washers) like the fronts do, so I will get new cupped washers etc. Was wondering about the rubber grommets. Thanks as always!

Right or wrong, I used the grommets with the new shocks. Everything went together fine.

Hmmmm....don't guess I've ever felt the need to replace the bushings that come in new shocks. I say if they fit over the shaft/support, go for it!
