Anybody out there know what a freshly rebuilt Quadrajet with matching numbers, (71 L-48)might be worth. I went to a Holley 650cfm and she likes it. If price is right I might sell.

If it is the original carb I would keep it and store it.

I am about 75% towards keeping it unless the price is right. then I can put the money into my paint job>

I agree, if it is the original carb for the car, it is probably worth more to keep it in the event you sell the car and the person buying wants the original one, it will add value to the sale.

I agree with the other responses. If and when the time comes to sell or further restore yourself, the matching numbers carb to your vette will be needed. It is hard to find the exact numbered parts for these cars.

I really appreciate the replies guys. Even though my 71 has been modified I do still have most of the original parts, so the Quad ain't goin no where. Thanks again, Terry
