I see the same price at different sites, and probably much like everyone else here I really like dealing with Summit.  Turns out that kit does not include the belt so I called Summit and was told it recommends a 54.8 belt and summit has a 54.75 .... sounds close enough to me.  The belt adds another $20 or so.

Because there is a little wiggle in my water pump I am going to replace it as well.  Summit has a chrome water pump and Power steering pump that I will order as well - might as well bling it out when I am there :-)   I'll do a chrome alternator afterwards.  It might be a few weeks but I'll post pictures when I am done.  I am considering losing the fan and going dual electrics as I would like to lose the shrowd.

Since the car is laid up I removed the steering column yesterday so I can work on the bracketing - looks like the under dash mounts are all wrong which is why the column sits too low.  I am going to fabricate my own and fix it once an for all .... hope to be driving again soon !!

According to summit this does allow for a fan and I do not have to switch to electric (which I do want to, just not right now).  I will call March to confirm, they open at 9

I placed my order for this kit, high volumn water pump, power steering pump and new alternator, Clutch fan (a lot of new chrome and polished aluminum) - $1,000 later.....eesh ! I just hope I have everything I need to install it this weekend.  I am assuming my current power steering pump hoses can be moved to accomodate the new positioning of the pump.  The rest I *thinik* should work well ..... we shall see !

Hi Bob - I called March and they confirmed that the water pump pulley has a cover over it.  When used with a fan you simply do not use the cover - thank you very much for pointing it out too, while on the telephone with March Performance they commented that I more than likely will require fan spacers !  that would have been upsetting this Saturday if I failed to buy all the parts.  Where I live in PA there are not many speedshops around and those that we do have are not very well stocked !

Oh, since I am swaping out my power steering pump what and how much fluid should I pick up?

The guy at Summit I spoke with said I would not require anything beyond the bolts that come with the March pulley kit - I had asked if I was going to need any fittings for the hoses.
