Hello Ron,

Yes I have used ProForm distributors in my 80 Vette, have one in my 72 370 HP 350 Chevy pick up with the 50,000 volt coil and both are a great asset.

I would also recommend you change spark plug wires to Accel P/N 5041R (red).Change last letter for color desired i.e. Bl black, B blue,Y yellow, and I think they also have p for purple..These wires are rated at 500 ohms/foot.There are other wires such as Taylor at 50 ohms/ft. that are excellent, however more expensive and unless you engine is slated for the track, not needed. The lower the ohms the more voltage to the module, points are whatever and complements the 50,000 volt coil and increases the fire in the cylinder...

Proform's dist, coils, and modules are a excellent buy..I have had the one in my 72 truck for 3 yrs and never misses a beat..

Good luck and have a great day.... Sal  nosal1
