Anyone know anything about a "special tool" to separate the engine and automatic tranny?

Anyone got a picture or better yet one I can borrow?

You shouldn't need anything special but a little gentle persuasion. Normally they will seperate easily, the only thing that interferes are 2 steel dowels.

you might want to remove the flywheel to torque converter bolts, that way you wont mess up the front seal in the tranny, that and the bell housing bolts, spray a little pb blaster around the dowel pins, and they should loosen up ,then you should be able to break the engine and tranny apart

Unfortunately, she has control of the checkbook...spent a year in Iraq and when I got back, decided I didn't want the budget back... she can handle it.  I'm still working on it....
