Gene, you can use different thickness washers. I really wouldn't use the lock washers to true up any differences. You need to see if the pully is running true. Sometimes there might be a bit of a wobble to it. The accurate way to check is to use a dial indicator. A staight edge should really suffice. You might have to add different thickness washers to make everything as true as possible. Good luck to you Gene!
