Is there an easy way to remove the PB Booster from a '71?
I might need to lose 20 lbs and double joint one of my elbows to get those nuts off from behind the brake pedal.
Thanks

(A) Yeah, pay some double-jointed, twenty-pounds-lighter contortionist to do it for ya' . . . OR
(B)Dynamite

Bad news is there's not an easy way to get at it. Good news is this will be great practice if you ever have to remove the A/C dryer, the heater core on an A/C-equipped Vette, the speedo or the tach.
Welcome to the world of the sports car.

John
PS - Why dynamite? Because it's bad form to use C4 on a C3. (aaarrrrrgggghhhh sorry, just couldn't resist it

i had the hardest time with the upper drivers side nut..
somehow it was left out when i put it all back together..
i just laid upside down in the seat..
ie with my knees hanging over the headrest..

I used a 20" extension, swivel adapter and a deep well socket for a 3/8 drive.

Well, I got it but man, what a PAIN. I hope I never have to take that off again. Those lock nuts just about broke mine. Stripped off the rust and repainted - looks great. I guess it was worth it!
