I made it home....yes it ran terrible! Oh well...I got the intake and valve cover gasket sets...I wanted new spark plugs but they didn't have them...I'll change them out too..probably oil fouled..I'll post up some pics when I get it apart and together...oh..it burned almost a quart of oil in the 60 miles on the way back...holy oil monster!!

Man, I would have hated to be behind you on the way home! Can you say smoke screen?

I'm just glad I don't have cats...really it killed 2 cylinders randomly between the 2...could smell the oil but it didn't blow smoke all that much...would have been really bad if it did smoke!!

Well I got the intake back on and polished the valve covers..had to drill out one hole since someone decided to leave half a bolt in there...had one oh s$&& moment when I started to tap out all the holes for the intake...the tap snapped off...luckily I was on the way out and a few taps with a screw driver and hammer it came right out...sad thing is this tap is probably 15 years old and never used...I guess that's where the name Snap on came from...I'll give him heck on Friday when I see him next!!..my only wait is on carb gaskets..still can't believe no one stocked those around here..I'll have them in the morning..then fire time!!
