Hi all...have a 327 68 my question is about spark plug wires. Is there a preferred or "best routing" from the distributor to the plugs?

The original shielding routed the wires properly to the spark plugs and manifold shields protected the wires from excessive heat. Many owners removed the shielding for various reasons. In lieu of the shielding use attractive but effective wire looms that uniformly routes the wires from the distributor to the spark plugs while at the same time keeping the plug wires away from the exhaust manifolds. Several parts stores and speed shops stock these items.

I like the look of the original routing: down the back of the block, under the exhaust manifolds, and the two forward ones go behind and up the middle of the motor mounts. There are a few looms/stands that keep the wires neatly routed. Joe
