I replaced my plug wires today, what a bi#ch that was, it took nearly 3 hours to complete. The neighbors are still sprinkling holy water in front of my house because of the foul language they heard coming from my garage.

I did learn a little trick on fishing the wires thru the covers under the exhaust manifold, loosen both bolts, cut the plug boot off the old wire, pull the boot off of the dist. end of the new wire, tape new wire on to old, then gently pull thru from bottom to top.

Job would have been a little easier if the bottom of the car wasn’t soaked with brake fluid and grease from the previous owners leaks.

Ahh, but it builds fortitude. Much easier done on a rack. But I will do mine in the driveway.

I have used the same trick and it is th only way unless you want to just pull the motor to do it. |laugh| It is one of the worst jobs to do by yourself.
