The cam bearings should be fine. Here's a thought...would the shop be willing to provide the pistons/rings AND re-bore the engine out to 40over, since they screwed it up to start with?
OR...would you rather not even deal with them anymore? In that case, I think I'd be insisting on them giving me my cash back for the machine work, and all the parts(pistons, bearings, etc.) and just take it somewhere else. You may wind up bitting the bullet on this one....

Yes, I called them yesterday and thats what there offering to do.  I wasnt sure if I trusted them to do the work now, but thats a lot of money to go somewhere else. I wouldnt think they could mess it up again but we'll see. Allright thank Joel, Scott
