hi all ,  i am back after about 10 years of inactivity.... but still with my same 78 corvette.

when checking the pcv system on my car i noticed several things that i wasn't aware of before.
my valvecover has no baffle in it... my pcv valve was sitting very loose in the grommet  and looks like the the vacuum port on throttle body got clogged with oil residue sucked up through the pcv valve?
( atleast i noticed after cleaning that port that my brake powerbooster which is connected on same port was feeling much firmer)

anyway.. my questions are how best to solve these things:
would a grommet  with a baffle in it be a good idea ?:the moroso pcv grommet with integral baffle:

further.. is it recommendable to start using an oilseparator to prevent any oil going through the throttle body again?

further.. i noticed that there are different pcv valves for a L48 and L82 engine.
but on summit i only could find the chevrolet performance pcv valve that i think might be L82 competable.. although i can't find anyhere if for an L48 or L82 it just say for corvette 74 to 82

would this be the right one for my L82 ?

thank you

arthur
