I purchased a tilt and tele column that needs to be rebuilt.  I was wondering if the directional switch and ignition key cylinder (and any other bits) from my standard column is interchangeable with the ones in the tilt column (both from a '72).   The key cylinder is not that expensive but the "ears" are broken off the tilt one (and I'd like to keep the key I have)  The directional switch is a different story!  Don't want to put the new column in only to find the directional switch is bad but don't want to buy a new one if I don't need to, since the one in my standard column works fine.  Have an extra steering wheel now too if anyone is interested.  Posting this on Facebook group too!  Thanks.

I'll guess that they're both the same as GM used to like to use the same part everywhere they could.
