I have a set of very nice valve covers and a set of heads that I am going to be selling but need to get some information on them first. The valve covers I believe are from what I think is an late 50's early 60's corvette. They are aluminum with corvette written in them. They have the offset 4 bolt down pattern, and they have 7 fins going across the top with corvette in the middle. How do I find what they fit. I think they are actually for the 283 engines.
As for the heads they are a set of high compression sb heads from I think the early 70's. They have a casting number of 8947041.
I plan on offering them for sale to the members of the C3 group before going anywhere else with them. I am in no hurry to sell them but they are taking up room that I can use for other things now. But before I sell i need to know more about them.
Thanks for any help you can give me. I can email pics if you need them.

Hey Rodney..Do a bing search with that casting number and it shows a 68-79 casting..you need to look at the number under the casting number and that gives the date code..I think they are 327-350 engine..194 valves..didn't find what they are off of yet..but I will keep hunting.
