Make sure whoever you order the pan from gets you the correct pan for a Corvette. Camaro, or other Chebby pans will not fit properly in a Corvette, no matter what the salesguy says.
Replacing the pan is pretty straight-forward. Just make sure the side rails of the engine are clean and DRY, and be certain to seal the edges of the gasket to the rubber end seals on for the pan.

Here's a couple of pics of an L82 pan for shopping comparison. It's 7 3/4" deep. The short sump is important if you still have original style 2>1<2 exhaust
