Vette(s): 1978 L-82 Silver Anniversary hotrod. /////////////
I have the old style 27 spline 700-R4 in my '78 behind a ZZ4 GM crate motor claiming 355 HP. It has held up well for over six hard months. Only problem is I used a Lokar TV cable kit rather than the kit from Bow Tie Overdrives and have a slushy 1 - 2 shift on hard throttle. If I had it to do over again I would go with the Bow Tie kit and spend a few more bucks.

I really dig the OD 4th and lockup converter. Turning 2250 RPM @ 75 MPH with 3:55 geras.

Vette(s): 1970 stingray, t-top, mulsanne blue with black interior, 406 ci with 444 hp, racing suspension, hooker headers/sidepipes - SOLD :(

you'll have to tell me how much that 200 ends up costin you, After Shark.

also I may someday try to get 600 hp to the rear wheels of the vette, so the tranny would need to be able to stand up to that.
