O-Ring Brake Job

Well, I finished my o-ring brake job and rotor replacement.  The car stops better then my wifes BMW!  I am working on writing it up for shark-bytes, but do not know what formats to use and how to package the pictures.  I was hoping for some direction from Adam or a moderator.  Little help please!

MS Word will work for the text. I am having the same issue with the pics for the infamous "350 Trans" article that I am doing. I can't seem to get them small enough to fit on the page with the text, and still be large enough to see clearly.
We may just have to reference the photos with numbers in the text, and then just have the photos on a separate page(s). That don't sound too "user friendly" tho...
There must be somebody here with some "publishing " skills...Ted?

I think I will use MS frontpage.  I did not even know it was installed on my computer.  This brake job not only has me stopping better, but fixing the runout and replacing the rotors fixed most of my vibrations. 

I need to do my Brakes, I would definately be interested in how to set the runout.  I understand you have to shim the rotors, but I have never done that, and don't have the tools (dial guage? shims?).  Where can I get the proper tools & shims and how much do they cost?  Also how do you rivet the rotors to the hubs.  Do you need a rivet gun like used in aircraft building?

You don't need to re-rivet the rotors back onto the hubs, the wheels & nuts hold it all in place. The rivets were only there to aid factory production. Straight from the GM Workshop Manual (for my'81).

This is a pretty easy job.  I made shims out of a Miller Lite beer can.  You have to either turn the rotors so that they are tru or buy new ones, Check them just in case, but either way make sure the two sides of the rotor are parrallel before you put them on the car.  Then measure your run out with a dial indicator.  For less then 30 bucks you can get one good enough for this job.  Or borrow one, maybe a friend has one.
