Sweet combo!  Thumbs%20Up I'm also thinking about a tire/wheel upgrade (but thinking is about all I can do at the moment).  Like many of you, I have a list of future improvements as long as my arm, and wheels are not that high on the list.

I'm considering taller, wider wheels (16, 17) with lower profile tires.  I currently have stock 15" rallys with BRAND NEW TAs now. I'm sure someone will be interested in them if I do upgrade.  That MIGHT make it doable.
Hey Mike,
I'm gettin' about ready to re-shoe the '71. Depending on when, I would be interested in your TA's. Let me know what your plans are... Dwain
OOPS! Embarrassed Sorry DNV, I just noticed you had already spoken up about the TA's

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

DaveM- Unfortunately, my wheels are not attached to the Vette yet. Still need to get the inserts in the wheels painted and the clearcoat applied.

Then we will be ready to roll.Big%20smile

Haven't taken it out yet. I have a friend painting the new lower valance I bought this winter. The old one was broken by a previous owner. Just got it back today. He said he used a clear coat that is real hard but takes about a week to dry hard. So I will but it on at the end of the week then take her for a spinLOL to see how the new tires handle.

Vette(s): 1972 Steel Cities Gray T Top. Original Owner, Original Paint and Interior. The running gear has been rebuilt. only 250,000 miles on the clock..
Great Choice of wheel and tire combo. I almost went the same direction. Instead went with chromed ralley's and Indy 500 firehawks. See you in Carson City. That way we can all check it out.Thumbs%20Up
