I think once they get all the bugs out and have it set-up right it could be a great addition to the coil over set that is available for the front. I will be watching also. Thanks for the info.

. I've had Coil-overs on the 2 Street Rods that I drove for about 20 years, all together over 110,000 miles and never a problem with them. I've put coil-overs on the front of the 1940 Ford coupe that I'm building now. It has a Mustang II front end with Corvette Disc's and a 1981 Corvette Rear end under it. I'll keep an eye on this technology too.

I have to admit that is interesting. It is similar to some race car designs. I do have questions, but so do they. I wonder about the final version.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the final strut on the trailing arm is in compression not tension. If anything goes wrong with that strut then it will all collapse. Very interesting idea though. I've never really liked the leaf spring on the rear of my 71.

Interesting. I use coil overs on my racing car. But, if you read some of the articles on the new C6, GM engineers defend the benefits of the transverse spring. Lower center of gravity, lower unsprung weight, etc. The main benefit of coilovers (for racing) is the ability to change spring rates rapidly and the adjustability of corner weighting.
But, quite interesting and I will keep up with it.
C3: 1979 Corvette Coupe, Auto, L-48, Red/Doeskin (my wife's fave);
C4s: 1986 C4 coupe (SCCA road race car), satin black, 4+3, Z51 package, L-98; & 1993 C4 coupe, white, 6-speed, LT-1.
