Last summer, before heading to Iraq, i installed a new cam and lifters in mt LS4...... a friend of mine whos good with BBC's did the vlavle adjustments......
Almost from the first firing, I get a lifter tap, especially when the engine is at operating temp, not cold.
well, long story short, having him come by and help me do another valve adjustment is difficult as he is always busy.... working on his own cars.
Is there anyone who's good at valve adjustments and lives near Philadelphia willing to stop over and give me a hand?
I hate to change out a whole new set of lifters if one isnt bad...... and I am good and removing and replacing things..... valve adjustments, i just never had anyone take the time to show me the proper way.
Thank you, Jim
