Ken your not weird. I just wanted to try something different. A lot of my driving is on the Interstate with most runs at least 1 hour, so I was after a better ride.

Ken...I stand with you on the steel spring. It was the way the car was engineered and built. Everyone I have ever spoken with who has done the conversion really likes it. I did install a set of gas shocks (KYB GR-2's) and replaced the bushings in the rear suspension. I was amazed at the improvement in the ride and handling. I am still not happy with the handling (Still understeers more than I would like.), but at least it is predictable. Next project....front suspension re-build. My two cents worth.
There is no substitute for low end torque!
