Covered the entire front of car with plastic and taped all the seams to hold it on and also taped around edge of engine bay opening and any high spots, I hope I don't have any surprises when I take it off.

Yeah makes life a lot easier going the hot rod route! I still can't decide which hood I want an L-88 or a 5" high rise. I sold my old hood on e-bay Big%20smile and good riddance. Trying to fit everything under the stock one would have been a real pain.
