This is really cool stuff. I have to admit, I'm very interested to hear the results.

Waiting is the hard part!

Vette(s): 1982,150K,Renegade CFI,Hooker Side Pipes,85 fuel pump,Bilsteins,HD suspension, Aluminum radiator, SharkBar/w 5-Point Restraints. 3:73 gears coming soon.
Quick note...........
I ran my 82 on the dyno today to get a baseline for the pre-install of the Renegade. My last dyno was in 8/2008, before I installed the Hookers and the Accel coil & module. Today's dyno showed about a 6 to 8 hp increase over the 8/2008 dyno, so it would be safe to say the Hookers and Accel parts gave me this added increase - good for general info.
We will do the Renegade install Saturday morning and will fire her up Sunday; I will post my official "Seat of the Pants" review on Sunday, but the much awaited dyno results will have to wait until Next Thursday as that is when I am scheduled for the Post install dyno.
I will be taking pics throughout the install and will post them up.
I finally sold my house this week and will be moving starting tomorrow..... So I have a very busy next 3-4 days and my cable will not be hooked up until Sunday, so no regular internet 'till then. I should be able to post from my phone on Saturday.
Stay Tuned...

The install went well with a few little hiccups which is to be expected AND why the install was done on a stock motor.
Anyway, with today's post install dyno, preliminary results are +33 horse power increase and +16 torque! YES, I did say +33 HP gain!!
This is all I can post right now, so please just be patient and everyone will get to see actual full results in due time!
The DCS guys are falling all over themselves, much better than they ever expected!
I will keep the info coming here, but you may also want to check out the Crossfire Vault Forum and DCS web site. They, Tom and Jim, can answer anyone questions much better than I can.
I believe the CFI Gods have finally answered us CFI'ers prayers!!
AMEN

WOW!! That is pretty impressive, all things considered!
I would be interested in seeing the dyno chart....seems like a LOT of HP gain, but not much torque, which suggests it breathes much better at the higher rpms than the stock intake set-up, but it doesn't do much for the low-end....which is ok.
Very Kewl, Phil!!
