Looks like quality components. I will certainly consider going that route when I am due for  spring change. Thanks for posting the link.

Hmmmmmm... I think its a great idea,  but why  ( i've never measured) couldnt you just put the coilovers on the exsisting T-arms the way it's setup now ?   I'm sure the shock mounts have to be reinforced and the T-am too...

Those T-arms look like they weigh a ton! I'm sure they're stout enough to hold the weight of the car, tho.
There's one thing, tho...the positioning of the lower shock mount on the t-arm looks to me like the weight of the car would push on the mount, and twist the t-arm out at the bottom, giving some serious camber problems, or at the least, some real stress on the camber rods/bushings, not to mention the twist on the t-arm itself.
Then again, I imagine these things have been taken into account in the design...

I think he liked inovation.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

Actually, yeah....he wanted coils in the rear, but there was just no room for them. GM wouldn't shell out for coil-overs, either. I have to think that Zora's final design would have been better than this, tho...imo

Hello all, if anybody has a Speed Direct Catalog ( the Steeroids People) it has a Picture of an Experimental and or Preproduction Coilover Setup that is way Diffrent. The Sping Shock setups are laying Flat where the Original Spring goes. Sorry I checked there Web Site and can't find it. It looks like a Pretty good Setup I'm just not Conviced that a Steel Coil is better than a Fiberglass Spring and since our Cars are among the very Few that You can Use Fiberglass why Not.
