Need help with block and crank numbers

I have been learning alot from coming here and reading these forums. You guys sure know your stuff! 
I believe the block is an '88 or '89 350 4-bolt main.....On the back of the block is cast 5.7L. On the front it is stamped with VK179027. The crank looks to be forged, going by the wide casting mark. Cast on the crank is 14088532.
Can anyone help me to decifer thse numbers?

i couldnt find any valid engine codes starting with VK...
what is the casting number of the block?

Cast on the back of the block near the distributor the numbers read 14101148.

According to the Mortec site: 87-90 350 4 bolt main, one piece rear seal.
